Graduation Requirements

At Valley, our diploma is the same as every other Jordan School District diploma. Our graduation requirements are 24 credits. You will need to complete all core graduation requirements that Jordan School District requires, but you only need 5 elective credits to graduate, verses the 8 needed at a traditional school. That is the only difference in our graduation requirements. You need the following credits per academic area:

 

4 in ELA (LA 9, 10, 11, 12)

3.5 in Social Studies (World Geography, World Civilizations, US History, US Government)

3 in Math (Math 1, 2, 3)

3 in Science (Physical, Biology, 3rd Yr. Science)

2 in Health/P.E. (Health, PST, Fit for Life, Elective PE)

1.5 in Fine Arts

1 in CTE

.5 in Digital Studies

.5 in Financial Literacy
